My experience with Moodle is intermediate, I have taken different courses but I do not have real work experience with it. I am considering the option of creating my own teaching platform, so I hope that this course will help me evaluate Moodle as a possible tool for that. About AI, I use it almost daily for my current job. I recognize both, its power and its danger. I try to use it for routine, manual work, so I have more free time for the other part, the analyzing, thinking and creating. AI is a very powerful tool to helo us create things that use take a lot of time and therefore, could not be achived before, like simulations.
Hi Cecilia,
Thank you for sharing your background with Moodle. Having experience as a learner already gives you a meaningful advantage, because you understand how courses feel from the participant side, which many course creators overlook.
Moving from using Moodle to actually working with it behind the scenes is an important step, and it is exactly where your understanding will deepen. This is where you begin to see how courses are structured, how activities support learning, and how everything connects to create a full learning experience.
It is also great that you are thinking about building your own teaching platform. Moodle is a strong option for that, but the real value comes from how you design the learning, not just the tool itself. As you explore, focus on how you want your learners to engage, interact, and progress.
Your experience with AI adds another strong layer. Using it to handle routine tasks while keeping your focus on thinking and creativity will help you design more meaningful and efficient learning environments.
You are in a very good place to grow from here. Keep exploring step by step, and let your experience guide your decisions.
