This is the 13th annual Moodle Course. The course begins on January 4 and ends on February 8, 2025. The goal of the session is to introduce Moodle learning management system for face-to-face, blended (hybrid), and fully online programs. Participants will learn about the features available in a Moodle course. They will create an account and get a Moodle site on Online Courses for Free as the manager of the site, create a course, and develop digital activities, resources, and blocks using on their Moodle course using AI tools. Participants who complete the tasks, will be awarded a certificate that includes 30 hours of coursework.
The developer and facilitator of the course is Dr. Nellie Deutsch who has been an admin and teacher of Moodle for the past 22 years.
"AI Apps for Spoken English" is a 4-week online course designed for English language teachers help learners harness the power of artificial intelligence to improve their spoken English skills. Throughout the course, participants will explore a variety of AI-driven apps and tools that offer personalized language practice, real-time feedback, and interactive learning experiences. Each week, learners will engage with new apps and exercises focused on key areas such as pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and conversational skills. By the end of the course, participants will have gained confidence in the using the AI tools and will be equipped with practical AI tools to help their English language learners continue their language learning journey independently.
