Konnichiwa and hi-hi, all, in this forum as well now! 🌷🌹

It looks like someone's new video-walkthrough recorded with the help of Filmora is ready to say hi here already too... 🤠🙂

As can be inferred from these someone's super-mega-"freshly-baked" comments on YouTube videos listed in the prompt for this activity, those super-handy and mega-practical video-tutorials were definitely of much use in the process of recording this new screencast video as well 🦗🐜:

Coming back to that new resulting video-walkthrough for some time again now, it seems to be already visible by this time below too, I guess... 🤡😺:

Moodle Learner and Course Creator Profile Comparison Video-Walkthrough

It's probably not difficult to guess that in this fresh video-walkthrough, somebody here was exploring the differences and similarities between the learner/participant and course creator/educator profiles in Moodle, which can always be easily found in Moodle after accessing the dropdown menu next to the profile image at the top right of the course page, yep 📚💻.

From the learner/course participant perspective, the interface appeared simpler and more focused on accessing course content and participating in learning activities. The available options included Accessibility, Profile, Grades, Preferences, and Log out. As a participant, I was mostly focused on viewing learning materials, tracking grades, managing personal settings, and engaging with course activities. I noticed that the learner experience depends greatly on how clearly the course is organized and how easily resources can be accessed 😊✨.

From the course creator/educator perspective, I observed additional administrative and instructional tools that support course management and learner support. In addition to the standard profile options, course creators/educators can access features such as “Switch role to …,” which allows them to view the course from a student perspective. This role provides greater control over editing course content, organizing learning activities, managing assessments, monitoring participation, and supporting communication within the course environment 🌿📖.

Comparing these two perspectives helped me recognize the importance of designing Moodle courses that are not only functional for instructors but also intuitive and engaging for learners. It also highlighted how course creators need to balance content organization, accessibility, interaction, and technical management to create effective online learning experiences 💡🌟.

At the same time, recording this video-walkthrough strengthened my confidence in navigating Moodle and deepened my understanding of how different user roles shape the online learning experience 🎥🤝.

Muchisimas gracias and merci bien in advance for watching this ~11 minute-long video-walkthrough if you'd be interested in that then too! 🤗🥳

Hi Olga,

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed walkthrough of the similarities and differences between the learner and course creator profiles in Moodle.  You did an excellent job clearly explaining the many features available on both sides of the platform while also highlighting the subtle differences that are often overlooked by users.

I especially appreciated how you connected the practical aspects of Moodle, such as accessibility settings, badges, grades, reports, privacy policies, and preferences, with the real experiences of both learners and educators. Your explanations were very clear, organized, and easy to follow, making the walkthrough valuable for anyone who wants to better understand Moodle from multiple perspectives.

You also highlighted an important point about how Moodle supports both teaching and learning through personalized settings, reporting tools, and credential management. Your reflections on badges, certificates, learner reports, and course management demonstrate a strong understanding of how Moodle can support engagement, monitoring, and professional development within online learning environments.

Saljut-saljut and hi-hi, Nellie! 🌺🌸

Muchisimas gracias and vielen dank for your super-thoughtful and highly encouraging feedback on that super-mega-brand-new video-walkthrough and on my related discussion post at this time as well! 🤗👍

I am very glad to hear that someone's comparison of the learner and course creator profiles in Moodle in that video-walkthrough appears to be clear, organized, and meaningful enough hopefully for sure then 😊📘.

I also appreciate your recognition of the importance of accessibility settings, badges, grades, reports, privacy policies, and personalized preferences within Moodle. While exploring both profiles, I found it very interesting to see how the platform supports not only course delivery and management for educators, but also engagement, progress tracking, and personalized learning experiences for students 🌟💻.

Your feedback further helped me reflect on how valuable Moodle’s reporting tools, certificates, and credential management features can be for supporting professional development and learner motivation in online environments. I agree that these tools can play a significant role in creating supportive, organized, and engaging learning experiences for both instructors and learners 🎓📊.

Merci bien and merci beaucoup again for your kind words and insightful observations! I truly enjoyed completing this activity and learning more about Moodle from multiple perspectives then, oh yeah!.. 😊📚.

Saljut-saljut and hi-hi, Jaweria! 🥳

Nice to meet you here at this time as well! 🤗

Merci bien and obrigada for the fresh portion of your super-kind and mega-highly "creatively encouraging" words! 😊

I’m glad to hear that you also used Filmora and YouTube tutorials as well — they were definitely a huge help throughout the process. It’s interesting how much we can learn by combining hands-on practice with those additional resources at times, yeah... 🎥✨

I really appreciate your comment about balancing organization and accessibility because that became one of the biggest lessons for me while working in Moodle. At first, the platform felt a little overwhelming, but step by step I became much more comfortable navigating the different tools and features 📚💻.

It’s great to connect with peers who are going through similar experiences in course building. I wish you the very best with your own Moodle course building project(s) as well, and I’m sure your course development journey will continue to go wonderfully then as well! 🌟

"See" you and the others somewhere not too far from here already pretty soon from this highly intriguing moment hopefully for super-mega-sure as well and cheers! 🐠

Tons of fresh Moodle-enlightened (still 😉) weekend juicy cheers and trillions of fresh Moodle-driven highly "creatively relaxing" Sunday fluids 🌞,
