Honestly speaking, I am not sure if I heard about SciSpace or not but I am definitely sure I have never come across Moara. I might have heard about SciSpace from previous workshop like this. The department has bought laptops and tablets for all teachers and learners in grade 12 in the province. The biggest challenge is utilization of these devices. I feel that if I know how best to motivate and train educators on how to leverage on AI, instead of showing fear and uncerntainty about their future as AI gains popularity, I can definitely feel a lot better.  It has come to my attention that many educators do not know how to use the devices handed to them. Learners are tech-savvy. I know a little about AI and courses like thisshis one helps a lot. i have a mountain to climb to try and move teachers into a tech space so learning can take the shape of hybrid instead of happening in a break and morta only. AI embrass all learning styles, genders and races. I do not have much experience in course development. What I normal do, I take teachers' lesson plans and digitise their work. This one captures my attention as I am dying to learn how to personalise learning to assist all learners create content instead of transmitting knowledge to learners.

Reflection on AI Instructions

Hi Mike,

Thank you for sharing your honest and thoughtful reflections. What you are describing is something many education systems around the world are experiencing right now. Providing devices is only the first step. The real transformation happens when educators feel confident, supported, and motivated to use technology and AI meaningfully in teaching and learning.

I appreciate your focus on helping teachers move beyond fear and uncertainty about AI. Educators do not need to become technology experts overnight. What matters is taking small practical steps and understanding how AI can support rather than replace them. Your experience digitising teachers’ lesson plans is already an important contribution because you are helping bridge the gap between traditional teaching and digital learning environments.

I also agree with your vision of moving toward hybrid and personalized learning. AI tools can help educators create learning experiences that are more flexible, inclusive, and learner-centered. It is exciting that you want learners to create knowledge and content instead of only receiving information. That shift can make learning much more meaningful and engaging.

Thank you as well for sharing the research article. Your interest in adaptive and personalized learning shows that you are already thinking deeply about the future of education and how to support diverse learners through technology and AI.
