The 4-week AI for ELT online course provides a hands-on approach to integrating AI into language teaching. Here’s a concise overview of each week’s activities:

Week 1: Introductions and Engagement Teachers use AI tools to introduce themselves creatively, setting a welcoming and interactive classroom atmosphere.

Week 2: AI for Storytelling and ELT Activities Participants explore AI image generators to create visuals for stories and enhance ELT activities, bringing lessons to life with engaging multimedia elements.

Week 3: Interactive Classroom Tools This week focuses on AI tools that promote interactivity, making classroom activities more dynamic and engaging for students, encouraging participation and collaboration.

Week 4: Showcase and Reflection In the final week, participants showcase their work and reflect on their learning. Tools like Book Creator and Riff-lect are used to create and share reflections, solidifying their understanding of AI's role in ELT.

This structured approach ensures that by the end of the course, teachers can effectively integrate AI into their teaching, enriching both the teaching and learning experience.

AI Generated Action Research to Improve Learning

"Leveraging AI to Assist in Generating Action Research" is a 4 week course designed to empower educators and researchers with the tools and knowledge to integrate artificial intelligence into the action research process. Throughout the course, participants will explore how AI can streamline data collection, analysis, and interpretation, enabling more efficient and insightful research that directly informs and enhances educational practices. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to use AI-driven tools to conduct robust action research, leading to data-driven improvements in teaching and learning outcomes.

The course will take place in June 2025.
