In this activity, participants will summarize their posts using PDFGear, Gemini, or ChatGPT after accessing the complete report in their profiles and saving it as a PDF file. They will use Colossyan to generate a presentation video of the summary that includes at least 5 scenes and share the video.

How to Create a Video Using Colossyan
Step 1: Access and Save Your Complete Activity Report
- Navigate to Moodle and access the "Complete Report" of all your forum posts.
- Save this report as a single PDF file.
- Watch the Tutorial: Please watch the provided video ("How to Access the Complete Report...") for a step-by-step guide on locating, printing, and preparing your report.
Step 2: Summarize Your Posts Using AI Use an AI tool to generate a concise summary of your key insights, themes, and contributions. Aim for a script that takes 2-3 minutes to read aloud. Choose one of the following options:
- Option A: Import your PDF into PDFGear and use its built-in chatbot to summarize the document.
- Option B: Copy the text from your PDF and paste it into ChatGPT or Gemini. Use the prompt: "Below are my discussion posts from a 6-week course. Please provide a structured summary (or script) of the key themes, main arguments, and insights from these entries, so I can add them to the scenes on Colossyan"
Step 3: Create a Colossyan Presentation Video Transform your AI-generated summary into a video using Colossyan Creator.
- After you log into your Colossyan account using my link above, join my team.
- When I see your name, I will give you editing rights so you can get the benefits of a pro account.
Your video must meet the following requirements:
- Choose an AI avatar to present your summary script.
- Include a minimum of 5 distinct scenes (e.g., Scene 1: Introduction, Scenes 2-4: Key Themes, Scene 5: Conclusion).
- Utilize relevant backgrounds (images or videos), text overlays, or images offered by Colossyan to support your points in every scene.
Step 4: Share Your Presentation
- Render your final video in Colossyan.
- Generate the public share link for your video.
- Get the embed code and paste it by going into Tools > Source
- Reflect on the process.
