Choose a Topic and Add it to Google Docs (Week 1)

You do not need any experience with WebQuests to create one because you will be working with the following WebQuest Template throughout the course. 

Instructions:

  • Choose a topic by conversing with the WebQuest Wizard.
  • Describe your needs, students' needs, their ages, level, and any other relevant information to help the WebQuest Wizard.
  • Watch the video below on how to copy the Google docs of the WebQuest Template. 
  • Copy the Google docs WebQuest Template.
  • Keep the headings that are there.
  • You will be adding your WebQuest information as the course progresses. Do not add more than is required per week.
  • Fill in the following information that pertains to your WebQuest.

Grade Level

Grade, level, or both. If university, program or course, or both.

Designed by (your name)

Add your full name and title or academic level.

Layout

Layout of the WebQuest at the top of the page.

Image of your WebQuest in the center instead of the one on the template

 
  • Give your Google doc a new title (Your WebQuest title). You can always change it later on.
  • Make your Google doc viewable by anyone who has the link.
  • Copy the link for us to view your Google doc. 
  • Open Generico (see video tutorial below).
  • Add the name of your WebQuest.
  • Paste the Google doc under Google edit. 
  • Paste the link. 
  • Reply to at least one other participant with a positive comment and question.
