Important Information About Your Account, Course Progress, Badges, and Certificates

Dear Participants,

I'm delighted to have you learning with us at Integrating Technology and AI in Education!

I'd like to share an important reminder to help you keep track of your course activities, grades, earned badges, and certificates.

Please use the same account every time you log in or enrol in a course.

Our courses are hosted on Moodle, a Learning Management System (LMS). Your learning activities, forum discussions, assignments, grades, earned badges, and certificates are associated with your personal account on Integrating Technology and AI in Education.

You can sign in using Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Yahoo, or LinkedIn. This is called OAuth2 authentication, which allows you to use an existing account to access our website.

Many of us have multiple email addresses, more than one Gmail account, or accounts with different providers. It's easy to accidentally select a different account when signing in.

If you use a different sign-in account that isn't linked to your existing account on our website, Moodle may create another account for you. Although you're the same person, Moodle will recognize the accounts as belonging to different participants.

This means your previously completed activities, grades, badges, and certificates may not appear when you're signed in with the other account. They remain associated with the account you originally used.

Please keep track of the email address and sign-in method you use.

I recommend saving the email address and sign-in method you use to access Integrating Technology and AI in Education. Whenever you return to the website, check that you're signing in with the same account.

You're welcome to take the same course more than once!

We offer a variety of professional development courses throughout 10 months of the year, with June and September reserved as months off. Several courses are available during each active month, giving you opportunities to explore new topics, develop your skills, and continue learning.

Some courses are offered repeatedly throughout the year, with different starting dates. You're welcome to take the same course again, even if you've already completed it.

You can also enrol in as many different courses as you wish.

There's no need to create another account when joining a new course or returning to the same course on a different starting date. Please continue using your existing account.

What if your completed activities or achievements seem to be missing?

Before repeating activities or enrolling again, please check whether you've signed in with a different email address or sign-in provider.

If you're unsure which account you used previously, please contact me. I'll be happy to help you identify the account associated with your learning records.

Please avoid creating additional accounts while we're checking, as this can make it more difficult to locate your previous work.

A final reminder

Your learning journey may include several courses, and you may return to the same course at different times. Keeping one account throughout your learning journey helps you maintain access to your achievements.

Thank you for being part of our learning community. I appreciate your participation, enthusiasm, and willingness to explore new ideas and technologies together.

Happy learning!
