Syllabus or Course Overview (Week 2)

The 4 module training course is designed for educators who are either starting a new leadership position or are currently leaders in higher education and looking to grow their leadership and management capabilities.
The title of course is Transformative Leadership in Higher Education.
The learning outcomes are:
By the end of the course:
Attendees should develop better understanding of leadership roles in professional environment especially language teaching in higher education;
They should be able to identify components that build transformative leadership;
They should be able to understand how system thinking is important to transform leaders;
They should be able to identify social justice in their educational system;
They should be able to identify communication strategies effective during organizational change.
The course should be spread over 4 weeks, each week a module with synchronous and asynchronous format.
The structure of each week should include suggested readings, a journal entry or discussion board, an interactive quiz, a video or an audio that matches the theme of the module, discussion activities and an assessment quiz at the end.
The course should have a Q&A section in case attendees have questions.
