Hello everyone,

Well, this is my Video for the Moodle Activities for my course.

Including Moodle activities in my course made the whole learning experience feel much more dynamic and engaging. Instead of passively going through material, students are supposed to be able to interact with the content, test their understanding in real time, and receive immediate feedback, which really strengthened their learning process.

It also helped me as an instructor to see more clearly where students were struggling and adjust the pace or focus of the course accordingly. Overall, it added a sense of structure, rhythm, and participation that is going to make the course feel more connected and alive, both for the learners and for me.

I am still in the process of adding more activities to the course, as I want to further enrich the learning experience and provide students with additional opportunities to practice and engage with the material. While many useful Moodle activities are already in place, I am continuing to develop and refine them to ensure they are as effective and meaningful as possible.

Thanks a lot for watching!

Hi Jurix,

Thank you very much for sharing your detailed walkthrough video of your Moodle course. Your presentation was thoughtful, organized, and showed a great deal of pedagogical planning and creativity throughout the course design process. I especially appreciated how carefully you structured the course into weekly sections that guide learners step by step through the Cambridge B2 First preparation process. The progression from orientation and study habits to reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills created a very clear learning pathway for students.

You demonstrated excellent use of Moodle activities and H5P interactive content to make the course engaging and learner centered. The interactive presentations, flashcards, quizzes, videos, matching tasks, and discussion prompts showed strong effort to provide students with multiple ways to interact with the content. I also liked how you incorporated mindfulness and burnout prevention into the course, which adds a very human and supportive dimension to exam preparation. This reflects thoughtful teaching that goes beyond simply preparing students for a test.

Another strength of your course is the consistency of the visual design. Your use of AI generated images with similar styles and colors helped create a coherent and professional learning environment. It was also very good to hear that you carefully checked your links and resources to ensure that students would have access to accurate and functional materials. This attention to detail is very important in online course design.

I also appreciated your reflection about pedagogy at the end of the video. You emphasized that the purpose is not simply to move students from one activity to another, but to create a logical and meaningful learning experience from beginning to end. That demonstrates strong awareness of instructional design principles and learner needs.

As you continue developing the remaining sections, you may also consider adding more student collaboration activities, peer feedback opportunities, and clearer completion tracking so learners can monitor their own progress throughout the course. Your course already has a strong foundation, and these additions could make the learning experience even richer and more interactive.

You should feel proud of the amount of work, creativity, and pedagogical thinking you invested in this course. What part of the course development process did you enjoy the most while creating these activities?

Hello, Nellie,

Please, accept my apologies for this late reply.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful and encouraging feedback. I really appreciate the time you took to watch my video and review my course in such detail.

I am glad that the course structure and learning pathway were clear and meaningful. My goal was to create a course that would support students throughout the Cambridge B2 First preparation process while keeping them engaged and motivated. It is very rewarding to know that elements such as the H5P activities, mindfulness resources, and visual design contributed positively to the overall learning experience.

I also appreciate your suggestions regarding student collaboration, peer feedback, and completion tracking. These are valuable ideas that I will consider as I continue developing the remaining sections of the course.

Regarding your question, the part I enjoyed most was designing the interactive activities and thinking about how students would engage with the content. I particularly enjoyed creating the H5P materials because they allowed me to make the lessons more dynamic and learner-centered. I also found it interesting to connect the different course sections into a coherent learning journey rather than simply creating isolated activities.

Thank you again for your kind words and constructive recommendations. Your feedback has given me useful ideas for further improving the course.

Kind regards,

Jurix
