My course is designed for English language learners who want to improve their communication skills using AI tools. The course focuses on writing, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, and using AI to support learning.

My course title is AI for ELT. It is a 6-week online course for teachers who want to use AI tools in English language teaching. Each week focuses on one important area, such as course orientation, AI-powered writing and feedback, listening and speaking, vocabulary and grammar, lesson design, and final showcase/reflection.

My course syllabus includes:

Week 1: Welcome to AI in ELT
Week 2: AI-Powered Writing and Feedback
Week 3: Listening, Speaking, and Pronunciation
Week 4: Vocabulary and Grammar with AI
Week 5: Designing AI-Enhanced Lessons

Syllabus or Course Overview (Week 2)

Thank you for sharing, Rasha. Your course is very well organized and clearly focused on practical applications of AI in English language teaching. I like how each week builds naturally from understanding AI tools to actually designing AI-enhanced lessons and reflecting on the learning experience. The progression feels logical and supportive for teachers who may be new to AI in ELT.

The weekly topics are also balanced. You included essential language areas such as writing, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, and lesson design, while keeping the focus on pedagogy rather than just technology. Week 2 on AI-powered writing and feedback and Week 3 on listening, speaking, and pronunciation are especially valuable because teachers are often looking for effective ways to provide personalized practice and feedback without increasing workload.

I also appreciate that your final week includes a showcase and reflection component. Reflection is often overlooked in online courses, yet it is one of the most important parts of professional growth. Giving participants an opportunity to share their work and reflect on how AI can support language learning makes the course more meaningful and collaborative.

Your course title, AI for ELT, is clear, direct, and easy to understand for educators searching for professional development opportunities. The syllabus shows a thoughtful balance between innovation and practical classroom application. How are you planning to have participants demonstrate their AI-enhanced lesson designs in Week 6?
