• Introduction 

    In week 1, participants will be introduced to each other, the course facilitator, the Moodle platform, and AI tools for teachers. The focus is on building community, getting familiar with the online environment, and exploring how AI can enhance teaching. Participants create and post short video introductions using AI tools like Colossyan or Heygen, helping them connect while trying out practical AI applications. They also learn how to navigate Moodle by accessing the weekly sections, using forums to share tasks, and exploring a list of resources and activities. 

    The week concludes with an overview of free AI tools that support lesson planning, engagement, and feedback in the classroom.

    By the end of Week 1, participants will have:
    • Connected with peers and the facilitator through AI-generated video introductions.
    • Gained familiarity with the Moodle platform’s features.
    • Been introduced to a range of AI tools tailored for educators.
    • Understood how AI can enhance teaching and learning experiences in practical ways.

    This week lays a strong foundation for collaboration, experimentation, and meaningful learning throughout the course.
