Orientation
The orientation is self-paced.
By the end of the Orientation, participants will have:
- filled in the Moodle Course Needs Assessment survey.
- connected to badges backpack (open badges).
- watched videos pertaining to the course.
- received their first digital badge.

How to Connect Your Open Badges Backpack to Moodle

Log in to Moodle and click your name in the top right corner.

Choose Profile → Preferences → Manage badges.

Click Add backpack or Connect to external backpack.

Enter the email address you use for your Open Badges account

Check your email and click the link to verify the connection.

Go back to Moodle → Manage badges, then click Import badges to bring your external badges into Moodle.

Go to your Profile → Edit profile, and make sure “Show badges on my profile page” is set to Yes so others can see your badges and achievements.
