Week 1 Introduction to Moodle for Teachers Teach Online (M4TTO) Moodle layout, to the participants, and to the Screen Recorders (Screencast-o-Matic, Awesome, LOOM, Edpuzzle, Flipg, and Vimeo) to create video tutorials.
Participants will introduce themselves with a Voki avatar.
They will discuss Moodle as a platform designed for team peer learning and learner autonomy
Participants will be introduced to screen recorders (Screencast-o-Matic, LOOM, Padlet, Flipgrid, Edpuzzle, Awesome, and Vimeo) to create video tutorials
- Learn to navigate a Moodle course, use the rich editor, and record audio and video using PoodLL and the recorder, navigate and update personal Moodle profile, and post to the online discussion forums.
Discuss the meaning of student engagement and brainstorm ideas for collaborative lessons and projects.
Develop a syllabus for their online courses on how to teach English based on a template provided (fill it in) using Google docs.
Add the syllabus to the overview section of their courses
