Create 4-6 badges for the Activities and Resources (Week 3)

In this forum, you will create four badges for your course using Canva and add them to your course in Moodle with criteria based on selected activities and resources.

You will then create a walkthrough video of your final course showing the four badges, their criteria, and how the activities and resources are organized. Upload your video to YouTube as unlisted or share via Google Drive, and post the link in the forum.

How to Create Badges based on the Course Activities and Resources

1. Get an account on Canva to create your badges. You may join my group to get pro features on Canva. 
2. Go to your course.
3. Click More and select Course badges.
4. Click Add a new badge.
5. Enter the name, description, and upload a badge image. Save.
6. Open the badge and click Criteria.
7. Choose Activity completion.
8. Select the activities and resources you want to include. Save.
9. Click Enable access to activate the badge.

The badge will be awarded automatically when students complete the selected items.

1. After you create your badges on your Moodle course on Online Courses for Free, create a walkthrough video using Colossyan, Filmora 15, or ScreenPal to take us on a tour of the activities. 
2. Upload the video to YouTube and share as unlisted, and paste the link or upload to Google drive, go into share and make unrestricted and viewable by anyone who has the link, copy the link and paste the link of the video.
