Based on the screenshots you provided, I can see exactly what is happening. The "bottom" part (like the Image generation button and your usage limits of 0/10) is working fine because you have plenty of credits and those features don't require pre-selected text.
Here is why the top parts are greyed out and how to fix them:
1. Why the "Arrow" button is grey (Top Input)
In your screenshot, the text box says "Give the AI any order for generating text...". This means the box is currently empty.

The Fix: Click inside that box and type a command (e.g., "Write a welcome message"). As soon as you type a single letter, that grey arrow will turn colored and clickable.
2. Why the "Summarize" & "Translate" buttons are grey
These buttons are greyed out because the AI doesn't know what you want to summarize or translate. It cannot work on an empty page.

The Fix:

Close this AI popup window.

Type some text into your main student editor (e.g., "The sky is blue.").

Highlight/Select that text with your mouse.

Click the AI "Sparkles" icon again.

Now, the Summarize and Translate buttons will be active (white) because you have selected text for them to process.

Image Generation is active (bottom) because it creates a new image from scratch.

Summarize/Translate are inactive (top) because they need you to highlight existing text first.
Try this right now: Close the window, type "Hello world" in the editor, highlight it, and click the AI button again. You should see the top buttons light up!
