Thank you for sharing your background with Moodle, Rasha. It’s really good to see how your experience with Moodle has evolved from being a learner to someone who is now actively using it with confidence. That shift matters, because once you’re comfortable navigating the platform, you can start focusing on what actually makes a difference for students, not just where to click, but how to design learning that works.
Your goals with AI are right on target, especially the focus on efficiency and personalization. Just be careful not to let “saving time” become the main driver. The real value comes when AI helps you think better, not just faster. For example, instead of simply generating a quiz, you can use AI to explore different ways to assess understanding, or to create variations that meet different learner levels. That’s where your role becomes even more important, not less.
I also like how you see AI as support rather than replacement. That mindset will serve you well. The strongest Moodle teachers don’t use AI to do the work for them, they use it to expand what’s possible. Designing activities that connect resources to meaningful tasks, guiding interaction, and shaping the learning experience, those are still very human decisions.
As you move forward, keep pushing yourself to go beyond generating content. Focus on how each activity you create actually supports learning. If you can do that while using AI thoughtfully, you’ll not only save time, you’ll create a much richer experience for your students.
Finally, you are going to learn how I created the courses you took on my Moodle site.
