To ensure your video plays smoothly in Moodle, you must host it on a public platform and get a sharing link.
-
Option A: YouTube (Recommended)

Upload your MP4 to your YouTube account.
-
Set visibility to Public or Unlisted.
-
Copy the URL from the browser address bar.
-
-
Option B: Google Drive

Step 3: Submit to the Moodle Database
Finally, you will add your link to the course gallery so it can be viewed as an embedded video.
-
Open the Activity: Click on the Course Walkthrough Gallery (the Database activity) in your Moodle course.
-
Add Entry: Click the Add entry tab at the top of the page.
-
Paste Your Link: Paste your YouTube or Google Drive URL into the box labeled Walkthrough Link.
