A person's wellness can be affected by physical, mental or emotional factors that cause bodily or mental tension. In the pandemic and post pandemic times, the world will face many economic, social and emotional challenges. The
simple realization that one is in control of one's own life forms the foundation for various techniques and strategies used by a person to control stress and ensure wellness. 'Wellness' is about taking charge of your thoughts,
emotions, schedules and the very way in which you deal with your problems.
By the end of this course, you will have the ability to:
identify the causes of stress,
describe the nature of the causes of stress,
describe your own perception of the causes of stress,
take steps to remove or reduce stress.
effectively deal with worries and issues that trigger stress and take a toll on mental and physical health and, as such, on the overall well-being of a person
benefit - It is primarily aimed at adults above 18 years of age- with focus on Students on the threshold of making choices in higher education or career, teachers at all levels, other professionals and entrepreneurs placed in decision
making roles or situations, This course will basically benefit anyone who is seeking ways to deal with stress and wants to feel healthy. This is a five week course with two synchronous meetings a week.
