Methodology and Intervention

In Week 3 part 1, your focus shifts to planning the methodology and intervention for your Applying AI in Research study. This involves identifying the theoretical framework that supports your work, selecting the appropriate research methods, outlining your data collection and analysis procedures, and designing a realistic and meaningful intervention. Together, these components form the backbone of your research design, helping ensure your study is both rigorous and relevant to your context.
Begin by identifying a theoretical framework that aligns with your topic. This framework will ground your study in established thinking and guide your decisions around design and analysis. To support this step, use SciSpace or another open-access research tool to find a published framework that connects to your area of inquiry. You don’t need to explain the theory in depth, but you should understand how it supports your approach to change or improvement.
Next, describe your methodology and the overall strategy and approach you will use to carry out your study. Include your data collection methods (e.g., surveys, observations, interviews, student work samples) and your data analysis procedures (e.g., coding responses, identifying patterns, comparing results).
