• Developing a Course Reasoning Engine

    In Week 3, participants will make their Moodle AI agents more agentic by adding context, reasoning, and the ability to provide meaningful guidance based on the purpose of their agent.

    Participants will continue developing their agents in their server sandbox with support from AgentLab. Depending on the purpose of the agent, they may connect it with Moodle course information, resources, activities, users, or other relevant Moodle data and functionality.

    The focus moves beyond generating AI responses. Participants will explore how an agent can understand context, reason about a user's request, determine an appropriate response or next step, and guide the user toward relevant Moodle resources or actions.

    By the end of Week 3, participants will have:
    • added contextual awareness to their AI agent.
    • developed reasoning appropriate to the purpose of their agent.
    • connected the agent with relevant Moodle information or functionality.
    • tested the agent with realistic Moodle scenarios.
    • improved the agent based on testing, troubleshooting, and participant feedback.
