• Introduction 

    In week 1, participants will be introduced to each other, the course facilitator, the Moodle platform, and AI tools for teachers. The focus is on building community, getting familiar with the online environment, and exploring how AI can enhance teaching. Participants create and post short video introductions using Colossyan, helping them connect while trying out practical AI applications. They also learn how to navigate the course on Moodle by accessing the weekly sections, using forums to share tasks, and exploring the list of resources and activities available in the course. 

    The week concludes with an overview of free AI tools that support lesson planning, engagement, and feedback in the classroom.

    By the end of Week 1, participants will have:

    • Connected with peers and the facilitator through AI-generated video introductions.

    • Gained familiarity with the Moodle platform’s features.

    • Learned more about Virtual Worlds.

    This week lays a strong foundation for collaboration, experimentation, and meaningful learning throughout the course.
